2. Long Range RWD Electric Automatic, priced at ₹67.89 lakh.

However, due to India’s import tariff structure, including a 70% tariff on EV imports coupled with approximately a 30% luxury tax, the on-road starting price of the Tesla Model Y rises to ₹74.06 lakh.

Upcoming Tesla Models in India

Beyond the Model Y, Tesla India has confirmed plans to introduce two additional popular models in the country:

• Tesla Model S, priced approximately at ₹70.00 lakh.
• Tesla Model 3, also expected to launch at around ₹70.00 lakh.

These models will expand Tesla’s product range and are expected to further stimulate demand for premium electric vehicles in India.
